Welcome to our website. Cobblestone Mortgage Corp. is a family owned and operated mortgage brokerage firm based in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina. We originate loans throughout both of the Carolinas.
After several years working in the mortgage industry, Mike Rowe founded Cobblestone in 1998. Once it was firmly established, Mike hired his wife Norma away from a competitor. From teller, origination, management and loss mitigation, Norma has over thirty years experience in the banking industry. She is now the face of Cobblestone Mortgage. If you check any of Cobblestone's reports on Angie's List, you will find that her clients love her. More importantly, they trust her for one of the biggest investments of their life and employ her repeatedly.
Since many of our clients have purchased homes, they have required the services of an experienced real estate agent. In 2005 Cobblestone launched it's sister company, Cobblestone Realty Corp. to help serve its growing client base with buying and selling their homes. Norma heads Cobblestone Mortgage and Mike is the Broker-in-Charge of Cobblestone Realty. Charlotte area clients can call to find out how they can "bundle and save" when buying and/or selling their home.
Norma is a native of Asheville, North Carolina. Mike is from Southern Maryland. They have been married and living in Charlotte for the past twenty plus years. They now reside in Waxhaw, a suburb on the south side of Charlotte in Union County. They both volunteer for the Golden Retriever Rescue Club of Charlotte and keep busy with their children and grandchildren that live nearby. Norma also volunteers at their nearby church, Transformation Church in the Financial Stewardship Care Team.
Their philosophy may sound cliche, but they "treat others like they would like to be treated". In today's marketplace, this appears to be increasingly rare. Their company motto is "Personal Service with Professional Results". After the real estate and housing implosion in the mid to late 2000's, their ethics and professionalism have not only kept them standing, but thriving.
